This Mojotone Baltic Birch Cabinet was commissioned by our friend Rob around 2005 to be built to correct 1960s - 1970s vintage specs and is closer to the real deal than any import Asian made RI and or modern Vietnam made “Marshall”.  Rob is a Master-amp builder has been collecting Vintage Marshall’s for decades. After not being impressed with the inaccurate and expensive RI Cabinets Korg has cranked out he decided to take matters into his own hands. It seems that some of the public is not aware that Korg acquired Marshall name in efforts to make money and were not overly concerned with correct vintage specs and or quality materials. If you are knowledgeable about guitar speaker cabinets you already know the quality material used for the baffle in this particular cab is just as important as the speakers! Starting about 2 years ago has begun to sell off his collection with this cab being the next to go!

Its exterior is wrapped in killer looking Red Tolex and is loaded with original vintage 1970s Celestion Greenbacks that have been professional re-coned and sound great

Handles are actual real vintage metal handles acquired decades ago when you could still get vintage marshall parts.

Grill cloth is correct looking sourced material thats getting expensive

Original 1970s vintage logo makes this 4x12 “Bass” cab look right. If you’re familiar with vintage Marshall custom color cabinets you already know they are pretty much unobtainable at this point. This may be the closest you are ever able get to the real deal as many of the Korg Era Re-issues do not look right and are made of sub par sounding and incorrect looking materials!
