The construction of the Touchstone series begins in Lewiston, Maine. The tops are hand-voiced in the official Bourgeois workshop! Dana’s method of tap-tuning optimizes the latent musicality hidden within the fibers of the world’s finest tonewoods. They really go out of their way with dedication to quality to ensure each note resonates with clarity, depth, and character IE the Bourgeois sound.

Then after Touchstone tops are approved by Dana, they are vacuum sealed and shipped to Eastman’s workshop in Beijing where a select group of Eastman’s finest luthiers, carefully trained in Bourgeois’ tonal philosophy and construction methodology integrate the tops into Dana’s designs, bringing each guitar to life.
